A good 19th century gilt brass oval carriage clock, by J Soldano, with alarm and bell strike, the platform and movement both numbered 227, height including handle 18cm, in original black leather travelling case.
Provenance: with Asprey purchase receipt dated 29th June 1977.
Winds but does not tick, balance wheel not moving, repeat and alarm working, a small chip on rear glass door panel at bottom left, no other damage to glass panels, several very small black flecks visible on white dial, minor marks and dents to case. Generally appears in Very good order.
