MANUSCRIPT: QUAKER WOMAN IN AMERICA: an interesting manuscript account of a woman's life in the first half of the 18th century: born in England, 1713, travelling to America and converting to Quakerism, dies at Carlow, Ireland 1755: circa 62pp, a neat transcription from sources 'written by her own hand many years ago' signed at end by one Aron Ashbridge, further ink ownership of one Thomas Kendal dated 1763: small oblong 8vo, original vellum covers utilising part of an old document, detached from block, general browning and marking but largely quite legible and in good condition.
