A good antique brass oval grande and petite sonnerie carriage clock, with alarm and push button repeat, striking on two gongs, backplate and platform inscribed 'R A', height including handle 19cm.
Winds and ticks, strikes correctly on the hours when the button is pressed and quarter repeat works as well when the button is pressed, chimes correctly on the hour and the quarters, enamel dial appears good but there is a 5mm small black crack withing the subsidiary dial and 5 or 6 very small black defect on the dial. 2 x chips to edges of glass on rear door one top left and one bottom right where it meets the brass frame. brass has minor age related dents and realy would benifit from re lacquering.
