A Georgian brass tobacco box, the hinged top monogrammed 'IH', 8cm wide.
Provenance: with accompanying documentation identifying the owner as Capt Isaac Hubbard of Dover. Hubbard fought against the Dutch at the Battle of Camperdown and by repute this box saved him from a bullet.
