A Nicole Freres rosewood, inlaid and brass strung lever wind cylinder music box, No. 45949, with 11in cylinder, 53cm wide.
Tune sheet missing, slight lifting to brass inlay in various areas, woodworm holes (old) to rear panel of case, surface not pristine with some rubbing and scratching consistent with age, ebonised base rim dented and marked, case could use restoration to get it back to its best. Plays quite well, maybe a bit out of tune,. Comb teeth all present, all works as it should.
