A Georgian oak eight day longcase clock, the 12in arched brass dial inscribed 'Richd Smith, Portsmouth', 196.5cm high, with weights and pendulum.
Probably a marriage. Silvered chapter ring in poor condition. Hands repainted and movement needs cleaning. Case needs re-finishing.
Crack to right side panel of hood. Glass panel on left side cracked.
No woodworm to case. Will need polishing. Not tested to see if in working order. No key for door. base cut down.
