A good antique gilt brass carriage clock, striking on a gong with alarm and push button repeat, the back plate inscribed 'Payne & Co, 163 New Bond Street, London', height including handle 17cm, with leather travel case and key.
Dial has some dirty marks, and minor chipping can be seen to the enamel around the subsidiary dials entry hole when viewed with a loop, otherwise no problems seen on dial or hands. All glass panels intact and undamaged, the brass has the usual marks and minor dents that you would expect for its age and use. Winds and ticks but stops so may need servicing or a new escapement. Repeat function works. Leather case very rubbed and faded.
