An Egyptian revival enamel and gem set brooch, by Carl Bacher, circa 1866, designed as the vulture goddess Nekhbet, with rose cut diamond and ruby bandeau to green enamel wings, a rose cut diamond collar and jadeite body, the reverse applied with gold plaque D.R.G.M./H.N.v.S and maker's mark CB, the pin with maker's mark CB and date letter A, 42mm wide.
