An early 19th century mahogany eight day longcase clock, possibly Scottish, with 12in circular painted dial, 204cm high, with pendulum and weights.

Dial enamel crazed and scratched. Gilding to steel hands worn. Crack to left side panel of hood. Crack to door veneer of hood. Repair to right side reeded canted corner of hood. Repair/replacement to central summit of hood. Door badly warped and does not close properly. Crack to right hand front corner of plinth (coming apart). Cracks to plinth on all three sides with some warping. General scratching/denting. Woodworm to front pine stretchers when hood removed (below dial) with some loss of wood. A few other woodworm holes seen but not bad or particularly detrimental. Rear board of case cracked and with a few holes where it has been attached to a wall. Signs of old rusting to movement but is reasonably clean. In need of restoration.
