A 1930s sapphire and diamond cluster ring, stamped Plat, set central collet set oval faceted sapphire surrounded by fourteen collet set diamonds, with additional collet set diamonds set to sides, size N 1/2.
The gross weight is 6.7g.
The sapphire id 13.3 x 10mm approximately.
The depth of the stone on a moe gauge is 18 deep but I do not know how to convert this to mm.
The sapphire has scratching and rubbing due to age and use.
The diamond are appox 1/16th of a carat each when measured with a diamond spread gauge.
No inclusions or faults seen within the sapphire.
In my opinion it is an inky blue from the top but looks a lighter blue when viewed from the underside
Generally in a very good used condition.
