An unusual late 19th century French walnut combined desk and games table, the detachable and double sided top revealing an inlaid backgammon surface, with a pair of frieze drawers flanked by a further pair of lateral slides, on turned and fluted legs, 138.5cm wide x 73cm deep.
Leather inset distressed, wear to baize inset, split to backgammon board, one corner of top surface damaged, screws on two escutcheons replaced, small moulding on back edge lacking. Otherwise general surface marks and indents commensurate with age.
