A rare Namiki pre-Dunhill Maki-e lacquer fountain pen, decorated with a fan and Samurai helmet, the nib inscribed 'Namiki, 14ct, 3, Made in...', the gilt band inscribed 'R14K', base inscribed 'Made in Japan', 13cm long.
Overall appears to be in good condition.
Probably lacking clip - there are holes for a clip but the holes are undamaged.
Lacquer appears good.
There is a band of wear to the pen approx 15mm from the end which does obscure two small lacquered 'dots'.
Please Note: the functionality of the pen has not been tested.

The only thing that looks like it might be a signature is within the fan.
