A rare 1966 Rolex 'Submariner' stainless steel automatic wristwatch, 40mm, Ref. 5513, Cal. 1520, Serial no. 1296836, having 'Meters First' 'Glossy Gilt' dial and rounded crown guards, on Rolex 'Oyster' bracelet; the clasp stamped '7836' and 'S AD4'; the end links '380' and '7836', with service papers and pouch. (Serviced in 2005)
All three hands are later replacements.
Fully functional. Including the rotating bezel.
Its possible that the bezel is a later replacement.
The dial is starting to show very fine cracks in the lacquer.
Some scratching to crystal.
The dial is in good overall condition.
No box or papers.
