HOEFNAGEL (Jacob): 'Archetypa Studiaque Patris..': Frankfurt, 1592 (but circa 1700 reissue): four parts in one volume, with 4 engraved title pages and 48 fine metal engraved plates: late 19th century half-calf, with ink gift inscription dated 1887 to upper free endpaper, the donor's name repeated to upper margin of initial title page, some scattered foxing and marks but a good crisp copy, oblong 4to. Complete copies such as this are rare in commerce. (1)
