GIELGUD (John): two ALS from John Gielgud to Jon Wynne-Tyson, both relating to Wynne-Tyson's research for work on Noel Coward, the first dated Nov 21 1987 declining an offer to write a preface but adding ..'of course I wish you all luck with getting the play published and perhaps put on..I never knew your mother, but of course have heard of her in all the books about Noel, though I think you would find it difficult to find an actor to play him...'.
